Had dinner at Jackson Hole on Sunday Oct 19 and had the most incredible dinner....The Special. It was 2 Yorkshire pudding with a mixture of thinly sliced roast beef, grilled onions/mushrooms with cheese and gravy served with a side salad. Its was so delicious. Will definitely go back.
Wonderful dinner with friends. Had the ginger beef and it was delicious. The Halifax Donair was suprisingly tasty! The Mediterranean salad is very good. We also tried some local beer as well. Varied drink menu offers alot of choices. Service was top notch! Our server Misa made excellent food recommendations as well as things to do locally! Highly recommend!
Great family restaurant with a restaurant (Grill) seating or pub (watering hole) seating. Kid's menu has a lot of options, drinks are mostly local. Any of the cocktails can be made a mocktail - I had the strawberry gin fizz without gin and it wasn't very sweet, just refreshing. The bench seating is very comfortable and it was nice to be seated at the window and get some light. Enjoyed the decor. My ad tried the Korean pasta special, which had a bit of heat and lots of flavour. My NY peppercorn steak was cooked just how I ordered - rare, and the sauce was amazing. The side of roasted vegetables and potatoes were cooked perfectly - crunchy crispy outside and soft and warm on the inside. My partner had the ginger beef bowl and it was crispy and saucy - would order that again. My boys both had grilled cheese with fries, which was reported as being better than home.

The restaurant is divided into two areas: one in the bar area, perfect for those seeking a pub-style atmosphere with a large bar offering a wide selection of drinks and the option to watch sports. For those looking for a more upscale dining experience, there is a separate area available. The restaurant is well-maintained and clean, with friendly service and servers. The food was excellent and served promptly.
The atmosphere was great, seating was amazing with wrap around booths and tables. Plenty of options for food. Wait staff (Misa) was both personable and quick! She made excellent recommendations for our meals and was able to give us information on other things to see and do in the area! This has quickly become my favorite place for dinner in Nelson BC. I can't say enough about the food. Hopefully my pictures show up on this review! The food was so good I Ordered it twice over!
We were staying overnight in Nelson and decided to come here for dinner. Our server was a young lady Jesse, who was very polite and friendly. We ordered drinks with our meal. My husband had the steak sandwich rare with a side order of salad. It came perfectly cooked and delicious. I ordered the classic burger with fries and gravy. It also was cooked perfectly and the fries were crispy and not greasy. For dessert we shared the blueberry cobbler warmed with ice cream. The whole meal was great. The atmosphere was very pleasant.
Our go-to spot in Nelson for burgers and a beer. I really like the historic vibe there and now with the extended patio outside, you get to enjoy the Summer months. Normally we visit Nelson in the Winter for skiing so it was nice to see. Good kids menu too along with lots of options for those who aren't burger people! Local beers on tap and always friendly Kootenay service.
The soups here are so amazing they made me emotional. Plus the owner greeted us upon arrival. (I believe his name was Clive) had a gorgeous V-neck sweater that made us feel at home. My children absolutely adored the cheesecake. I will certainly be back.
Great food, afternoon on a Saturday! Bar side and restaurant side made the booth seating nice. Walkable from Main Street. Drink selection was awesome!
